Kid's Picnic Table

Wow, can I just say that I am sooooo honored that my kid's table was featured over at Craptastic!!!!  Be sure to check out the amazing blog that Katie has.  Just click the link below to see my post featured and read her blog.

Thanks to all of you for such wonderful comments on here and on Facebook about my Mom and the "Letters to Heaven" post.  I was blessed to read each and every one of them.

The hubby has been hard at work finishing up some wood-working projects and some repair projects for some clients.  Of course, I volunteer him for these projects and then somehow he has to fit them into his already incredibly tight schedule.  He works insane hours, and I'm so blessed that he still finds time to work on things for the business and for me.  I know...sappy.  Moving on to showcase one of his latest projects...this adorable kid's picnic table.

He whipped this up in a very short time.  All of the wood materials came from...take a guess?  Okay, you know us too well...yep, the side of the road wood pile that have hoarded collected.
This piece turned out so cute.  I may be a little biased, but I sure do love it.  Once he completed it, all I did is sand the rough edges.  This wood was already pressure treated, so it's all ready to go outside.  I'm working on having him give the the tutorial details, so hopefully I can pass those along soon.
This table is for sale at De'France Antiques and Flea Market.
