Chalk Paint Chest

Hey Guys!  No before and after today, just an after.  I won't get too wordy on this one.  But I will let you know that I used ASCP (Annie Sloan Chalk Paint) for this piece.  This was my second piece to do with chalk paint.  I've since used it on a few others.  I really liked it, but I think it has a time and a place.  For distressing, it works FABULOUSLY!  The wax is also AMAZING.  Like, really, AMAZING.  Too bad it's so darn expensive! :)

I bought this piece from another dealer who was trying to clear out his shop and make room for some new things.  It was already primed when I bought it.

 I used one layer of Provence and two layers of Old White. 

 I used a sanding block to distress.

I used just a bit of dark wax and then sealed it all with clear wax.  The finish on this was sooooo smooth and soft.  I could really tell a difference with the ASCP wax versus my usual wax.

 The hardware was spray painted with ORB.  This piece already sold at Smith's.
